How to Manage Access Settings in Enforcium
Access settings in Enforcium let you manage workspace users and assign the appropriate access role to each team member. From Settings → Access, you can review users, their email addresses and departments, assign roles, search the user list, and remove users when needed.
Access is managed from one central view.
Viewing users and their access
The Users section contains the people who have access to your Enforcium workspace.
The table provides several details for each user:
- User shows the person’s name and position information.
- Email shows the email address associated with the account.
- Department shows the department assigned to the user when available.
- Access role shows the role currently assigned to the user.
The table also includes controls for changing a user’s access role and removing a user from the workspace.
Searching for a user
When your workspace has many users, use the Search field at the top right of the Users section.
Enter a user’s name or other relevant information to find the account in the list.
Assigning an access role
The Access role column shows the permissions level assigned to each user.
For users whose role can be changed, select the role field to open the available options. The menu includes:
- Company Administrator
- People Manager
- Department Administrator
- Member
Select the role that matches the user’s responsibilities within the workspace.
Each role represents a different level of responsibility within the workspace. The appropriate role should reflect the user’s responsibilities and the access they need to perform their work.
Understanding the workspace owner
The workspace owner is identified as Owner in the Access settings.
The Owner role has a different status from the selectable access roles. The interface indicates that the workspace owner role cannot be changed from this menu.
Removing a user
Each user row includes a delete icon on the right side of the table.
Select the delete icon when a user should be removed from the workspace. Review the confirmation step if one appears before completing the action.
