How At Risk, On Track, and Off Track Progress Statuses Work in Enforcium
The At Risk, On Track, and Off Track progress statuses in Enforcium show how a goal is currently progressing toward its expected result. These signals help teams quickly understand the current state of an Objective or KPI and identify where closer attention may be useful.
Understanding progress statuses
Enforcium uses three progress statuses for Objectives: At Risk, On Track, and Off Track. Objectives can be filtered by these statuses, making it easier to find goals that require attention.
KPIs also use these performance signals. The KPI card displays the current performance signal alongside information such as progress, actual value, the remaining amount, and the timeline.
The status reflects the current relationship between progress and the expected result.
On Track
On Track means the KPI is progressing according to plan.
The current result is moving at a level that supports achieving the expected outcome within the defined period.
This status is useful during regular reviews. It gives the team a quick indication that the current pace supports the intended result.
For an Objective, the status can be viewed directly when reviewing the overall goal. Its card also contains the overall progress, deadline, participants, Key Results, Tasks, and comments.
At Risk
At Risk indicates that there is a risk the target will not be reached on time.
This status calls attention to a goal that may require review. The team can examine the current result, recent data, timeline, ownership, and related work to understand the situation.
For KPIs, the card provides several pieces of information that can help with this review. You can see the current progress percentage, actual value, remaining amount, performance signal, time remaining, and related Tasks.
An At Risk status can be a useful prompt for a progress review. The team can look at the latest data and decide whether additional action is needed.
Off Track
Off Track means current progress is significantly behind what is required.
The signal makes a substantial performance gap visible directly from the goal or KPI view.
When a result is Off Track, review the information associated with the goal. Check the current value, timeline, ownership, Key Results, Tasks, and any available comments. The Objective Overview provides these details in one place.
How progress statuses help teams
Progress statuses make performance easier to scan across a larger set of goals.
A manager can quickly identify goals that are At Risk or Off Track and open them for a more detailed review. Objectives can be filtered by progress status, while KPIs can also be filtered by All, At risk, On track, and Off track.
This is especially useful when many goals are active at the same time. The status gives managers a quick starting point for deciding which results deserve closer review.
Reviewing the data behind a status
A progress status should be considered alongside the data that supports it.
For a KPI connected to a Metric, the current Metric value is used as part of progress tracking. Users can select Add data, enter the actual Metric value and date, and save the new result. Enforcium then updates the Metric data and the progress of the related KPI.
