How Employee Profiles Work in Enforcium

What is an employee profile?

An employee profile in Enforcium is a personal page that brings together information about an employee’s place in the company, role, responsibilities, and activity in the system.

You can open your own profile from the user card below the company logo in the left menu.

The card shows your name, photo, and current Position. Click the card to open your personal profile.

For example, a Head of Marketing can check in one place:

which Position they hold → which Department they belong to → who they report to → what they are responsible for → which metrics are within their area of responsibility → what actions they have performed in the system.

This becomes especially useful as the company grows and role and ownership information becomes harder to manage through individual documents and personal knowledge.

1. What you can find in the profile

The profile contains four main tabs:

Profile contains the employee’s basic information.

Job Description contains their role and responsibilities.

Activity History shows their activity in Enforcium.

Metrics Access shows the metrics connected to their area of responsibility and their access to those metrics.

The top of the profile also shows Time in company, which indicates how long the employee has been with the company.

2. Profile

The Profile tab contains the employee’s main organizational and contact information.

Here you can see:

  • Position: the employee’s current Position
  • Department: the Department they belong to
  • E-mail
  • Phone, when a number has been added

You can also edit the profile and update the employee’s First Name, Last Name, and Phone number.

For example, when you need to check who currently leads Marketing and which Department they belong to, this information is available directly in the employee profile.

3. Job Description

The Job Description tab contains the current description of the employee’s role.

It includes:

Position,

Reports to,

responsibilities,

reporting line,

qualification requirements,

and other rules and expectations defined for the Position.

It answers a practical question:

“What is this person responsible for in the company?”

For example, a new Head of Marketing can open their profile and see their Position, reporting line, responsibilities, and expectations associated with the role.

This is especially useful during onboarding, role changes, and team growth.

4. Activity History

Activity History shows the employee’s activity in Enforcium.

Events are grouped by date and include the time and description of each action.

For example, the history can show that a user:

  • created a metric KPI
  • changed a metric name
  • updated an Objective
  • changed an indicator type
  • and performed other updates in the system

Activity History provides context for changes. When a metric, Objective, or another element is updated, you can see what action was performed and when.

5. Metrics Access

The Metrics Access tab shows metrics within the employee’s area of responsibility.

The table includes:

  • Metric — the metric name
  • Accountable position — the Position accountable for the metric
  • Last Value — the latest recorded value
  • Last updated — when the data was last updated
  • Access — the user’s access level for the metric

For example, a Head of Marketing can open their profile and see the marketing metrics associated with their Position in one list.

This makes metric ownership easier to trace when the team needs to review a KPI and its current result.

Use Search to quickly find a specific metric.

Why the profile matters

An employee profile brings together the information people need to understand their role in the company.

You can move through the employee’s context:

Who is this person? → Which Position do they hold? → Where are they located in the organizational structure? → What are they responsible for? → Who do they report to? → Which metrics are they responsible for? → What have they done in the system?

For example, when a COO notices an issue with a specific metric, the profile and organizational structure make it possible to trace ownership to the relevant Position and employee.

For a new employee, the profile also provides a practical view of their place in the company’s operating system. It shows their Position, responsibilities, reporting line, and related metrics in one place.
