How the Live Dashboard Works in Enforcium

The Live Dashboard is the workspace for daily metric monitoring in Enforcium.

The Metric Tree is used to create, configure, and organize the company’s measurement system. The Live Dashboard brings those metrics into daily work, giving teams quick access to current values, changes over time, department metrics, and KPI goals.

For example, a Sales team can monitor:

Leads Generated

Qualified Leads

New Customers

Average Order Value

Lead to Customer Conversion Rate

Viewing metrics on the Live Dashboard

All metrics created in the Metric Tree are available under Analytics → Live Dashboard.

Each metric appears as a separate card with its current value and performance over the selected period.

For example, the Sales team can open the Live Dashboard and immediately see the current Qualified Leads result.

Switching between My (Pin) and department dashboards

Tabs at the top of the Live Dashboard let you switch between different sets of metrics.

The first tab is My. It contains the metrics you have pinned.

The following tabs represent individual company departments.

For example:

My → your pinned metrics

Sales → Sales metrics

Marketing → Marketing metrics

Operations → operational metrics

A Head of Sales can open the relevant department tab and review the metrics for Sales.

Selecting a period

The Live Dashboard lets you choose the period you want to review.

For example:

28 July to 25 August

Once a period is selected, the dashboard shows metric performance for that timeframe.

This makes it easier to understand how a metric changed throughout a specific period.

Comparing periods

Use Compare to review metric performance across different periods.

For example, a team can compare the number of qualified leads this month with the previous month and see how the result has changed.

The Live Dashboard answers two useful questions:

What is the current value?

and:

How has the metric changed over time?

Pinning important metrics

Metrics you monitor frequently can be Pinned.

For example, a Head of Sales may regularly track:

Qualified Leads

New Customers

Average Order Value

Pinned metrics remain easily accessible from the My tab.

Creating a KPI from the Live Dashboard

When a metric needs a specific expected result, you can create a KPI directly from the Live Dashboard using Create KPI.

For example:

Example
Metric
Qualified Leads
Current value
72
KPI
100 qualified leads per month

Once the KPI is created, its progress is also displayed on the metric card in the dashboard.

Viewing detailed metric information

Click a metric on the Live Dashboard to open its detailed Overview.

Here you can see:

  • current metric value
  • Accountable
  • metric performance in the Progress by Time chart
  • recent changes in Change History
  • complete data history
  • date of each update
  • who entered the data
  • the KPI set for the metric, when available
  • Attribute charts

For example, for Average Order Value, you can see the current value of $100 and review how it changed during the selected period.

Reviewing metric data history

The History section stores all recorded metric values.

Each entry includes:

  • Metric Value: the recorded value
  • Date: the date associated with the data
  • Entered By: the person who entered the data
  • Attribute Value: when available

Previous entries can be edited through Edit when needed.

This gives the team a complete record of metric updates over time.

Adding data from Metric Overview

The Metric Overview also includes an Add Data button at the top.

Use it to enter a new actual metric value directly from the metric page.

For example, if Average Order Value changes from $100 to $115, enter the new value and date through Add Data.

After saving, Enforcium updates the metric’s current value, data history, and performance chart.

How Metric Tree and Live Dashboard work together

Metric Tree and Live Dashboard use the same metrics and support different parts of the measurement workflow.

Metric Tree → creating, configuring, and organizing the metric system.

Live Dashboard → daily metric review and monitoring.

Metric Overview → detailed information about a specific metric, its performance, and data history.

KPI → a specific goal set for a metric.

For example, you can create Qualified Leads in the Metric Tree and define its parameters, department, and ownership.

The team can then view its current value and performance on the Live Dashboard.

The Metric Overview provides a detailed view of its changes and recorded data.

If the team needs to generate 100 qualified leads per month, you can create a KPI for the metric with that goal.

What comes next

The Live Dashboard gives users and departments a shared workspace for the metrics they monitor regularly.

From here, you can:

  • view current metric values
  • track changes over time
  • switch between your personal dashboard and department dashboards
  • select and compare periods
  • pin important metrics
  • open a detailed Metric Overview
  • review recorded data
  • add new values
  • create KPIs for metrics

When you need to create a new metric or change the metric structure, go to Metric Tree. When a metric needs a specific goal with measurable progress, create a KPI.
